What We Do

At Penny Tree School, we celebrate individuality by creating a supportive, nurturing and safe learning environment for autistic pupils aged 4 to 19.

As a brand-new specialist school in Kings Norton, we are dedicated to ensuring every child feels a sense of belonging and is supported to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Our personalised approach means we tailor learning and support to each pupil’s unique strengths and needs. We provide a curriculum that is engaging, flexible and carefully adapted to help every learner make progress in line with their individual goals. Our experienced staff work collaboratively with pupils and families to promote confidence, develop diverse skills and prepare young people to make meaningful contributions to their communities.

We are committed to working in strong partnership with health, care and therapy professionals to deliver a holistic education where wellbeing and development go hand-in-hand. Through this multi-disciplinary approach, pupils benefit from interventions, strategies and tools that support communication, regulation, independence and social understanding.

Our School Values

At Penny Tree School, we believe that:

  • Every pupil should be listened to and respected
  • Pupils deserve a learning environment where they feel safe, valued and understood
  • Individuality and neurodiversity are to be celebrated and embraced
  • Progress is nurtured through personalised support and high expectations
  • Pupils can flourish when learning is meaningful, engaging and relevant

Our dedicated team is passionate about creating a positive, inclusive culture where all pupils are encouraged to explore their potential and build the confidence to succeed in life beyond school.
